This interactive multimedia exhibit showcases artwork created collectively by high school seniors in the Parsons Scholars Program, which is a three-year college access program in art and design for highly dedicated students from NYC public high schools. The senior capstone class is grounded in social justice and takes on a critical viewpoint of contemporary culture. Reflecting on their own personal lives and experiences, the Scholars' work spans topics ranging from religion and food to stereotypes and gender roles. These young artists have taken many risks in manifesting their voices, which too often go unheard in our modern world, and are eager to share their work and engage with the community. Join us!
